The Installation Process
We’ll take exact measurements of your layout making sure all city and fire department regulations are followed.
Our designer drafts up the plans based on the measurements provided, showing the panels layout and where the electrical connections should go.
The plans are submitted to the city with an application for a building permit. The city reviews the plans, makes any corrections or requests any structural engineering.
We schedule your installation, order materials and have them delivered. We chalk out the measurements, arrange how the solar panels will be installed, which direction they’ll face and how they’ll be mounted.
The crew sets the anchors for the rails and makes sure everything is sealed. Next, we mount the 14 foot aluminum rails, connect and ground the wires.
Once the wires are in place, each micro inverter designated for each panel will be bolted into place on the rail.
We run all the wires back to the electrical panel and the utility meter which measures energy use. We wire up the panel with the breakers which enable cutting the electricity if work needs to be done. There's two breaker systems set up as a safety issue.
The system is setup so it can be monitored online. We know exactly how much power each panel is generating and if ever there's an issue, we know which panel to repair or replace.
